Champagne is the name of a region in northern France and also the name for the premium sparkling wine produced there.
There are three grape varieties used to make Champagne:
- Chardonnay
- Pinot Noir
- Pinot Meunier
The classic style uses all three, but may also be made with just one or two of the three.
