Bursting with Refreshment

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for its vibrant fruit aromas of passionfruit and lime. What happens when you add bubbles to that freshness?
The answer lies in this wine!
The freshness of NZ Sauvignon Blanc is made even more elegant by the carbonation. Its juicy palate is excellent on its own and perfect as a refreshing drink on a hot day.
About this Wine
Grapes are sourced from multiple parcels throughout Marlborough, with each parcel fermented using a different yeast. It is then finished as a sparkling wine using a unique carbonation technique (carbon dioxide injection) that creates fine, persistent bubbles.
Tasting Notes
When poured into a glass, it offers refreshing aromas of passionfruit, lime, and dried herbs. Floral nuances of rose also emerge.
On the palate, firm bubbles bring a sharp, refreshing sensation, highlighting the lively acidity. Juicy citrus and tropical flavors spread, leading to a subtle salty finish.
Best enjoyed well chilled.
Pairing
A sparkling wine to be enjoyed well chilled. It pairs particularly well with herbs and seafood.
- Herb Chicken Salad (The aroma of herbs resonates with the wine's freshness.)
- Sardine Pizza (The saltiness and umami of the seafood harmonize with the wine's finish.)
- Fried Chicken (The wine's acidity and bubbles cut through the oiliness of fried food.)
- Tuna and Asparagus Genovese (The herbaceous basil notes are a great match for the wine's aroma.)
We also have a selection of other appealing NZ sparkling wines.

About the Winery: Marlborough Wine

Marlborough Wine is a family-owned winery established in 2006 by Kevin and Sarah.
Kevin leverages his experience as former Acting CEO and Sales Manager at Tohu Wines to actively target overseas markets.
In addition to their own vineyards, Marlborough Wines sources grapes from contract growers across NZ to create wines with distinct personalities.
About the Region: Marlborough
Marlborough is the heart of New Zealand's wine region.
With abundant sunshine and large diurnal temperature variations, Marlborough boasts favorable natural conditions for grape growing, producing over 80% of NZ's wine. Among these, Sauvignon Blanc, characterized by its crisp acidity and overflowing fruitiness, accounts for an overwhelming production volume and is widely loved globally for its unique character. For red wines, Pinot Noir, with its delightful berry fruit flavors, is popular.
