Valli Wines was founded in 1998 by legendary New Zealand winemaker Grant Taylor. The winery is named in honor of his great-grandfather, Giuseppe Valli, who immigrated from Italy.
At the heart of their winemaking is "capturing the essence of the land in every bottle." They showcase how the same grape varieties can produce astonishingly different flavors depending on where they are grown (climate and soil).
"Two Genius Winemakers" Recognized Worldwide
Valli's greatest strength lies in the collaboration of two world-class winemakers.
Grant Taylor (Founder)

A pioneer representing New Zealand. He is the only legendary winemaker in the world to have won the unprecedented "Best Pinot Noir Award" four times at a global competition in London.
Jen Parr (Co-Winemaker)

A highly talented winemaker who joined in 2015. Originally from the USA, she has extensive domestic and international experience and has also won the "New Zealand Winemaker of the Year Award."
"Four Vineyards" with Distinct Personalities
Valli primarily produces Pinot Noir, the king of red wines, as well as white wines like Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Riesling. Their four regions (vineyards) each possess entirely different characteristics.
Gibbston
Characteristics
A very cool place where grapes ripen most slowly.
Flavor Profile
The slow ripening process results in an elegant, refined, complex, and delicate flavor. Rare "orange wines" are also produced here.
Bannockburn
Characteristics
Only 20km from Gibbston, but a warmer area.
Flavor Profile
This produces powerful wines with deep color, strong fruit flavors, and a good tannic structure.
Bendigo
Characteristics
A warm vineyard constantly exposed to sunlight and retaining heat well.
Flavor Profile
Known for its rich, full-bodied, and voluminous flavor, often described as a "friendly beast."
Waitaki
Characteristics
A new region established in 2004. The soil is limestone, similar to that of Burgundy, a high-end French wine region.
Flavor Profile
Characterized by a fragrant, perfume-like aroma, crisp, clear acidity, and minerality. The Chardonnay, in particular, is considered superb.
Terroir Woven by Two Artisans. Inviting Drinkers on a Special Journey
Valli Wines is a winery born from the fusion of New Zealand's magnificent nature and the extraordinary skill of two artisans.
Even without difficult technical knowledge, the greatest appeal is the ability to clearly experience the differences in terroir (the character of the land) simply by "comparing wines from different vineyards." From wine novices to connoisseurs, they deliver beautiful and honest wines that take drinkers on a special journey.
