The appeal of NZ Pinot Noir
NZ Pinot Noir has a wide variety depending on where it is grown.
"Marlborough" wines tend to have a strong fruit flavor, while "Central Otago" wines tend to have a strong concentration. Also, "Martinborough" wines tend to have an elegant style that is closest to Burgundy.
Each of these producing regions produces Pinot Noir with clear fruity flavors, especially of berries, and there are also many wines that are rated as comparable to those from Burgundy.
Personally, I think NZ is a Pinot producing region with great value for money!
