We have recently added a new white wine to our lineup from Kimura Shigehisa's winery, Kimura Cellars .
The following two products have been released this time.
Kimura-san continues to make wine diligently even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and has delivered two new handmade wines to us.
The Chardonnay has a clean acidity that reflects the characteristics of Marlborough, a cool wine-producing region, and combined with the mellowness of barrel aging, it is very well-balanced.
The Riesling is called "Dry Riesling" and is refreshingly dry. You can really taste the acidity, fruitiness, and minerality.
I think that all of Kimura's wines express "Japaneseness." They are not overly assertive and have an excellent sense of balance.
These two are also delicate and flavorful, and go perfectly with Japanese food. They go especially well with tempura!

A delicate Chardonnay that pairs well with Japanese cuisine. Fruity flavors and a subtle milky nuance coexist elegantly.
It goes well with seafood hotpots such as whiting or conger eel tempura, crab sukiyaki, and tetchiri. It also goes well with potatoes and butter-fried scallops.

Kimura's limited edition Riesling
It has a hint of pear that gives it a Japanese feel, and a sophisticated and elegant impression. It also has a mineral feel, and the flavor lasts for a long time, making it a high-quality Riesling.
It goes well with vegetable and shrimp tempura, fritters, and fried chicken. We also recommend vongole bianco and octopus and sunny lettuce salad.
