Mahi, located in the Marlborough region, is a winery founded in 2001 by Brian Bicknell, a renowned winemaker who has worked in winemaking around the world. Grapes are hand-picked. They use wild yeast and some whole-cluster fermentation is also done. Their philosophy is to create unconventional, natural wines that reflect the individuality of the land.
