Johanneshof Cellars is a winery run by two winemakers, one from Germany and the other from New Zealand. It was established in 1991. It is unique in that its vineyards are built on steep slopes of 30 degrees, which is rare in Marlborough. It has won numerous awards for its sparkling wines made using the Champagne method, as well as Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and rosé wines, and has attracted attention.
