100th blog

A kind staff member counted the number of times and told me that this blog post is the 100th one .

As I wrote the other day, I am a priest who gives up after three days. I still haven't started weight training again.

Even someone like me could do it 100 times. I didn't think I could keep it up for that long.

I owe it all to the staff who keep pushing me hard and to all of you kind readers.

thank you.

I'm the kind of person who "doesn't have anything in particular that I want to say to the world." Even when I watch the news, I often only have elementary school-like reactions like, "Oh, that's terrible," or "Oh, so that's how it is." I usually just accept it and leave it at that.

When I sometimes look at the comments section of Yahoo! News, I am amazed at how many people in the world have something they want to say.

So it's quite difficult for a rather absent-minded old man like that to continue to get something out there.

When I say that, some people say, "Iwasu has been a radio writer for a long time, so he must be good at writing," but that's completely different.

I currently write scripts for about 10 radio shows a month, and the content of each one is already decided. There is a general outline.

Rather than writing my own opinions about something, most of my work involves picking up facts and connecting them together with my imagination to create a work of fiction that mixes fact and fiction.

So I'm happy with being mostly tasteless and odorless. I think it's that casualness that has allowed me to continue for over 20 years.

But blogs are just a personal taste. It's hard to get a flavor out of a tasteless old man. I often think that all I get is a weird bitter taste.

Still, thanks to having a blog, I always feel like "I need to input in order to output." I think it's a blessing for a lazy person like me.

However, as the deadline approaches, I often feel disheartened by the small size of my refrigerator and the poor quality of the ingredients I've put in it. "Hey, how can you cook with just maitake mushrooms and yogurt?" I say to myself, the person in charge of supplies, as the deadline approaches (for some reason, the Iwasu family's refrigerator always only has maitake mushrooms and yogurt).

"But the truth is, I wanted to get more in, but there were a lot of things we couldn't do because of COVID! Maitake mushrooms and yogurt was not enough!" I, the procurement manager, made the excuse.

But the city is slowly starting to move, and those excuses are becoming less and less valid. It's finally okay to take action. Well, of course, this is a good thing.

From now on, I think I need to broaden my range of activities a bit and take in more information from various sources.

First, I'll go to various stores. Then I'll plan an event. I'll go to Tokyo next month. I need to fill up the fridge with so many maitake mushrooms and yogurt that it won't all fit in there. No, I need to fill it up with various ingredients.

Well, today is the 100th anniversary, so I'd like to do something fun.

I've been able to continue this blog thanks to all of you who read it, and I wanted to somehow express my gratitude to you all, so I came up with this idea.
