I uncorked a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau yesterday.
I usually say NZ, NZ, but of course I also do Beaujolais.
just,
"Those things aren't worth the price." "The Japanese are just playing into France's tricks."
I know there are people like that, and I don't think their opinions are wrong. It's natural to have likes and dislikes.
But if you have a passion for wine, I'd still encourage you to try it.
It has a sweet banana-like aroma, a flavor that is reminiscent of grapes, and little astringency or bitterness, giving it a somewhat childlike air.
When I drink this every year, it brings to mind the image of little league baseball. I like Koshien and professional baseball, but watching little league baseball at the local park is also pretty fun.
Rather than looking at it from the perspective of technique or anything like that, I want to enjoy it by noting things like, "They're working hard," "They're honest," and "They could do really well in the future."
So if you like wine, adult wines are good too, but if there's a wine festival for boys, why not try it out?
If you keep a regular eye on your child every year, you'll be able to enjoy both little league baseball and Beaujolais Nouveau, noticing things like, "Wow, this kid's grown up a bit."
It's even more fun when paired with food, so if you'd like, come and try it out and see what kind of food it goes with (by the way, we're fully booked today on Friday, sorry. We think we'll have stock until the end of November).
My shop, Bokumo, is here.
