Decibel Giunta Malbec Nouveau 2021
Malbec is a variety that produces rich wines, but this wine is medium-bodied, dominated by the freshness of the fruit. It is easy to drink and has just the right amount of richness.
This wine is dark in color but has a gentle flavor, making it the perfect pairing for Japanese dishes that use soy sauce and mirin, as well as teriyaki chicken, beef sukiyaki, and pork belly.
About the Winery "Decibel Wines"
Decibel Wines is a winery founded in 2009 by Daniel Brennan, a former musician with an unusual background. They brew their wines using grapes from contracted farmers in Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, Nelson, and other areas. Each farm's vineyard is certified sustainable.
FIA Gewurztraminer 2020
This white wine made by the organic winery Huia has a pleasant jasmine scent, a strong flavor, and a mellow yet dry finish.
The combination of white fish and herbs, and chicken and herbs, go perfectly together. Dill, coriander, rosemary, etc. are good choices.
About the winery "Fire Vineyards"
Huia Vineyards is a winery founded by Alan and his wife, winemakers with experience in Champagne. They are based in Marlborough. Their first vintage was in 1997, and they have been using organic farming methods since early on. Based on the idea that "great land and people are needed to make great wine," they are also involved in raising animals and bees.
We plan to stock other varieties in the future. Please come and try them!
