Organic Pinot
A soft-tasting Pinot Noir made using sustainable cultivation and brewing methods.
Since this is a Pinot Noir from the warm Hawke's Bay, some people may imagine it to be a "rich Pinot," but that is not the case with this wine. The color is not very deep, and when poured into a large glass, it is a light type that shows through, and has the typical Pinot color.
The taste also retains a strong acidity, with a pleasant cherry aroma and a complex flavor that evokes the bounty of the earth.
It doesn't pack much of a punch, but the flavor spreads slowly and the softness lingers on your palate.
It goes well with meat dishes in general, but especially with duck and pork dishes. It has a strong acidity, so it goes well with oily dishes.

Delicate organic Syrah
The characteristic aroma and flavor of Syrah is its spicy flavor , and this Syrah also has that nuance well.
However, it is not the typical "dense, dark, voluminous" Shiraz from neighboring Australia.
The color is not too rich, and the taste is elegant, with a mild flavor that is a good balance of berry and spice aromas.
It goes well with beef, but I think it would go even better with chicken or pork dishes that are well-spiced!

About the winery "Te Awanga Estate"
Te Awanga Estate is a winery located in the Hawke's Bay region.
It was founded by renowned New Zealand brewer Rod McDonald.
He worked as a winemaker at Vidal Estate, a winery with over 100 years of history, for nine years, and was awarded the New Zealand Winemaker of the Year award in 2006. He then established Rod McDonald Wines, and is currently making wine at Te Awanga Estate.
The vineyards stretch from Maraekakaho to the coast at Te Awanga, and many varieties are grown to suit a range of wine styles.
In addition, Wild Song is a wine that has been certified with New Zealand's organic certification "BioGro," which has some of the strictest standards in the world.
Even in New Zealand, where sustainability is on the rise, there are still not many wines that have earned this certification. This is a wine that I would especially recommend to those who want to choose organic wine.
