This off-dry* Riesling features crisp, citrus acidity and a hint of sweetness. Night harvesting and low-temperature fermentation bring out the full delicate aroma.

About the Winery "Villa Maria"
VILLA MARIA is a large-scale winery that leads the New Zealand wine market.
Since its founding in Auckland in 1961 by George Fistonich, the company has continued to provide a stable supply and currently exports to 60 countries.
The winery is also widely known for having won the most awards in Japan at wine competitions around the world.
Villa Maria's vineyards are located in four locations: Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, and Auckland on the North Island, and Marlborough on the South Island, and grape varieties suited to each location are cultivated. The harvested grapes are vinified and aged in Auckland, Marlborough, and Hawke's Bay, and all bottling is done in Auckland.
The company began its organic farming efforts in 1999, and in 2007, 21 hectares of vineyards were certified BioGro. Currently, all vineyards are in the process of being converted to organic farming. In addition, all Villa Maria wineries and vineyards are certified by Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand™ (SWNZ).
