Very popular white + newly arrived red set
"Invivo x Sarah Jessica Parker" has been a favorite of many people since the opening of Bokumo Wine.
This Sauvignon Blanc is full of a stunning tropical fruit flavor, and many people say that once they try it, they're hooked, with many buying it again and again.
This popular brand has now been joined by a new red wine, "Pinot Noir," which also offers a gorgeous fruity aroma.
It has a bright berry impression plus a strong hint of spice in the aftertaste, giving it a deep and complex flavor.
Like the Sauvignon Blanc, this Pinot Noir was created with the deep involvement of actress Sarah Jessica Parker in the winemaking process.
Be sure to add some color to your dinner table with this set of our popular Sauvignon Blanc and the new Pinot Noir.
Sauvignon Blanc
The aroma and flavor are overwhelmingly fruity. This year, it has a slightly more complex nuance and a longer aftertaste.
The response has also been extremely good at sommelier Iwasu's restaurant, Bokumo.
"It's got a really fruity feel to it."
"I want to keep smelling it forever."
Everyone says that.
That's because the moment you pour it into a glass, the aroma of passion fruit fills the air.
And when you put it in your mouth, it has a very refreshing feeling.
It's so fruity you'll mistake it for grapefruit juice, and the lingering herbal aroma is irresistible.
Please try this wonderful aroma and taste once.
This wine, rich in citrus flavor, goes well with fish dishes such as carpaccio and acqua pazza.
Sauteed chicken and pork cutlets are also good.
Pinot Noir
Vivid color and rich flavor
While retaining its characteristic "catchy, exhilarating flavor," this is a well-balanced wine that fully expresses the delicacy, softness, and richness of Pinot Noir.
Very bright ruby red in colour.
The aroma is reminiscent of both red fruits such as raspberries and strawberries, and black fruits such as American cherries.
It also has a spicy flavor that comes from the barrels, and when you lightly swirl the glass, a powerful, lively flavor emerges.
The taste is also strong with fruitiness, but at the same time you can also sense the spiciness of cocoa, cloves and nutmeg.
It has medium acidity, moderate astringency, and a long aftertaste.
The place of origin is listed as Marlborough.
However, this wine is not the bright, juicy Pinot Noir that is characteristic of Marlborough, but rather has a complex flavor that lies beneath its brightness.
This is no surprise, as 85% of the grapes used in this wine come from Marlborough, with the remaining 15% coming from Central Otago.
New Zealand's labelling rules state that a wine can be labelled with a single place of origin if 85% or more of the grapes used are from that region.
Following that rule, this wine is labeled as MARLBOROUGH. However, it is actually a MARLBOROUGH & CENTRAL OTAGO wine.
I think the reason for this multi-regional blend was to aim for a bright, supple flavor from the grapes in Marlborough, and a concentrated, complex flavor from the grapes in Central Otago (Bannockburn subregion).
The wines are aged separately for 11 months in barrels (35% new) and then blended before bottling.
This superbly balanced Pinot Noir is the product of the ingenuity of the winemaker.
Winemaker INVIVO is a pioneer who has set new trends in New Zealand wine through innovative methods.
This time, in addition to the buzz of collaborating with Sarah Jessica Parker, the winery is also attempting to create a unique Pinot Noir flavor through a cross-regional blend.
So, if you were to pair this wine with food, what kind of food would it go well with?
- Roast pork (berry sauce)
- Pork Piccata (Tomato Sauce)
- Braised pork
- Japanese-style tuna and mushroom marinade
- Grilled bonito (with olive oil)
I think this will be a pretty good pair.
This new Pinot is not only soft but also complex in flavor, so be sure to enjoy it with a delicious meal.
About the Winery "Invivo"
Invivo is a winery producing world-class wines founded in 2007 by Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron.
The Latin word "Invivo" means "In life" in English. Invivo's ideal is to deliver "wine that shares the joy of life" to the world through innovative and modern efforts.

With such ideals in mind, they have rapidly grown their business since their launch in 2008, and in a very short space of time have become a world-renowned winery.
The winery has been recognised for its creative marketing and has been recognized as one of the most innovative wineries in the New Zealand wine industry, winning more than 150 medals and numerous trophies.
In 2015, they became the first New Zealand winery to successfully raise funds through crowdfunding, and are recognized for showing a new direction in the NZ wine industry.
The release of wines in collaboration with celebrities has also been a hot topic.
This wine is one of them. This Sauvignon Blanc was created in partnership with Sarah Jessica Parker, an American actress, designer, and wine lover, and has been on sale since 2019.
In addition, the company has also released "Graham Norton Wines," a wine personally blended by British comedian and actor Graham Norton, which has also attracted a lot of attention.
About Marlborough
Marlborough is the heart of New Zealand's wine region.
Marlborough has ideal natural conditions for grape growing, such as abundant sunshine and large temperature differences throughout the day, and more than 80% of New Zealand's wine is produced there.
Among them, Sauvignon Blanc, characterized by its crisp acidity and overflowing fruitiness, is produced in overwhelming quantities and is loved worldwide for its unique character. In addition, Pinot Noir, with its rich berry fruit flavor, is also popular among red wines.

About Central Otago
Central Otago, the southernmost region in the country, is known as a famous Pinot Noir producing area and is called one of the "three major Pinot Noir producing areas in the world" along with Burgundy and Oregon.
In addition to Pinot Noir, we are focusing on growing aromatic white grapes. This region is the only one of New Zealand's wine producing regions with a semi-continental climate, characterized by large daily temperature differences, coolness, and extreme dryness.
The region is also home to a wealth of small wineries, and winery tours based in the scenic town of Queenstown are popular.
