Sauvignon Blanc from the cold climate of Central Otago. Its lively freshness is reminiscent of a starlet, or young actress. It has a citrus aroma and a dry aftertaste.
For cheese, mozzarella or feta are perfect. Shrimp or sea bream carpaccio, prosciutto salad, and fish fritters are also great!

This wine is produced in Central Otago , a cool climate region. The Sauvignon Blanc produced in this region has a slightly different feel than that of Marlborough , New Zealand's major wine producing region.
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has a strong grapefruit and passion fruit flavour and is known as a lively Sauvignon Blanc, while Central Otago has a slimmer taste with lemon and lime as its main flavours.
The name of this wine truly brings to mind "Starlet," a young actress.
Although it has a slim impression, it has a high alcohol content of 14% and a rich flavor.
There is a hint of herbs, but the fruity scent dominates.
It has a strong acidity and a slightly bitter lemon peel taste, making it the perfect choice for those who like fruity wines.
This fruity flavor sets it apart from other countries. It is a high-quality Sauvignon Blanc that expresses the essence of New Zealand.

About the winery "Misha's Vineyard"
Misha's Vineyard is a winery located in the Central Otago region of New Zealand's South Island. It is still a young winery, having only released its first wine in 2008, but Misha's wines have attracted attention and received high praise from many critics.
When I visited New Zealand previously, I had the opportunity to tour the Mischa Vineyards.
The owners, Andy and Misha Wilkinson, are a married couple who used to work for a global IT company in Singapore. They had long dreamed of making their own wine, and in 2001, they decided to start making wine.
Wanting to "produce an elegant Pinot Noir" in a cool climate, they narrowed down their location to Central Otago in New Zealand, and spent two long years selecting the land for their vineyard.
The vineyard is located on the shores of Lake Dunstan in Bendigo. The terrain is very steep, and the soil is hard and poor.
The land where winemaking began was the center of the gold rush in the late 1860s, and remnants of that period still remain.
Misha said that he liked this place because of all of its historical significance.
In addition, her mother is an opera singer, and Mischa herself aspired to be a ballerina from an early age, so the subtitles of all of the wines they produce have names related to music and theater.
About Central Otago
Central Otago, the southernmost region in the country, is known as a famous Pinot Noir producing area and is called one of the "three major Pinot Noir producing areas in the world" along with Burgundy and Oregon.
In addition to Pinot Noir, we are focusing on growing aromatic white grapes. This region is the only one of New Zealand's wine producing regions with a semi-continental climate, characterized by large daily temperature differences, coolness, and extreme dryness.
The region is also home to a wealth of small wineries, and winery tours based in the scenic town of Queenstown are popular.
