This is one of the most impressive wineries I have visited!
He has been making wine in Marlborough for nearly 40 years and is truly a man who knows the region inside and out .
The Pinot Noir he produces is a perfect expression of the region's style of "powerful, fruity Pinot."
The aroma is of concentrated fruit, like American cherry and plum jam, with hints of cinnamon and cocoa. It gives the impression of strength and elegance coexisting.
When you put it in your mouth, the smooth flavor spreads all at once. Although the fruitiness is dominant overall, you can also clearly feel the complex flavors of non-fruit spices such as cloves and cinnamon, giving it a rich flavor.
Once it passes down your throat, the vanilla flavor from the barrel lingers in your nose, which is very pleasant! The aftertaste is also very long, and the blissful taste continues.

GREYWACKE was founded in 2009 by Kevin Judd, a former president of Cloudy Bay, one of New Zealand's leading wineries.
Cloudy Bay is the most important winery in the New Zealand wine world, which has made New Zealand wine known to the world. In particular, the unique taste of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has shocked wine lovers around the world. This taste can only be found in Marlborough, no matter where in the world, and Cloudy Bay's taste has been praised as being particularly excellent.
