Bokumo is closing its 17-year history.
Since its opening in 2009, we have been truly cherished by so many people. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And, prior to the closing, I decided to hold a "Bokumo-style event"!
Oh, by the way, I had been quiet recently, but originally, Bokumo was a shop I started with the idea of making it a "restaurant where events could be held." At some point, we shifted to New Zealand wine, and now it has transformed into a shop with a strong New Zealand flavor. It's truly amazing how far we've come.
However, the core feeling remains unchanged. Fun events, everyone having a lively time. Wanting to feel a sense of unity in the same atmosphere.
That is Bokumo's origin.
Therefore, this time, on May 16th and 17th, for two days, we will return to our roots and hold Bokumo's final party!
The Bokumo of that time led to the Bokumo of today. And the end of Bokumo is also the beginning of a new stage.
From now on, I plan to actively undertake various projects, mainly wine events, under the name "Bokumo presents."
Yes. This event, "THE LAST ORDER," is a final event, and also a declaration of intent, so to speak, showing the path that will continue. It is also a LASTING ORDER, an everlasting mission!
My mission is to spread more and more delicious New Zealand wine. To create fun places where everyone can gather.
And at this event, we have prepared the chef's cuisine, live music, a DJ, baked goods, a training experience, a talk event, and more, and I hope to spend a fun time with all of you.
On Saturday, the theme will be "the past," and on Sunday, "the future," and we will prepare something enjoyable for those who come for both days.
Someone once said,
"The end is the beginning."
And I declared in January,
"Enjoy the turning point."
Please do join us at this milestone event. I sincerely await your presence!
Naoki Iwasu, Bokumo
