Imagine a situation where various Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes are arranged on the table. If you're feeling a bit fancy, a secondary fermentation sparkling wine in the bottle might be nice. But for a casual party, I wholeheartedly recommend this "Black Cottage Rosé."

Rosé wines are inherently versatile when it comes to food pairing. However, this wine possesses a unique character that sets it apart from other rosés.

It's primarily made from 78% Pinot Noir, blended with 17% Sauvignon Blanc, and a small amount of Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Viognier.

The blend of white grapes creates a vibrant and fresh aroma, which gives this wine an exceptional individuality compared to other rosés.

The winemaking process involves direct pressing. This method, which presses the grapes as they are to extract a pale color, contributes to its refreshing and dry finish.

As you tilt the glass, you'll find aromas of rose petals, red raspberry fruits, and fresh lime citrus. Hints of fennel herbs add a refreshing accent.

About Two Rivers Winery

Two Rivers is a winery founded in 2004 by Marlborough-born and raised winemaker David Clouston.

The son of a fifth-generation Marlborough farmer, he developed an interest in wine at age 17 and studied viticulture and winemaking in New Zealand. He then gained experience making 25 vintages of wine in various countries, including New Zealand, France, Spain, Corsica, the USA, and Chile, before returning to NZ to establish this winery.

"Two Rivers" is named after the two prominent rivers in Marlborough: the Wairau River and the Awatere River.

In 2019, their long-awaited winery, "The Wine Studio," officially began operations. With giant, state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks, concrete egg tanks, and amphorae, the winery's setup reflects a commitment to traditional winemaking while constantly embracing new techniques.

This "Black Cottage" wine is another range produced by Two Rivers, with a concept of "Wines with Gusto." The aim is to create approachable, simply delicious wines.

"Marlborough" is the heart of New Zealand's wine region.

With abundant sunshine and significant diurnal temperature variations, it boasts ideal natural conditions for grape cultivation. Marlborough produces over 80% of New Zealand's wine.
