A slightly dry rosé that complements everyday life
A rosé where you can enjoy the best of both Pinot and Sauvignon Blanc at the same time. The fresh fruit and herbal notes spread abundantly, but the palate is decidedly dry. Direct pressing.
Versatile. Especially good with appetizers, fried foods, and as a companion to Chinese and ethnic cuisines. Salmon salad, Yu Lin Ji (fried chicken with soy sauce), fresh spring rolls, and spice curry.
About the winery "Two Rivers"
Two Rivers was founded in 2004 by winemaker David Clouston, who was born and raised in Marlborough.
As the son of a farming family that has been in Marlborough for five generations, he became interested in wine at 17 and studied viticulture and winemaking in New Zealand. He then gained experience making wine across 25 vintages in various countries, including NZ, France, Spain, Corsica, the US, and Chile, before returning to NZ to establish this winery.
“Two Rivers” is named after the two main rivers of Marlborough, the Wairau River and the Awatere River.
In 2019, they also fully launched their long-desired own winery, "The Wine Studio." With state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks, concrete egg tanks, and amphorae lined up, the winery itself reflects a commitment to classic winemaking while constantly challenging new methods.
This wine, "Black Cottage," is another range from Two Rivers, whose concept is "Wines with Gusto." It aims to produce approachable and simply delicious wines.

Marlborough is the heart of New Zealand's wine region.
With abundant sunshine and large diurnal temperature variations, favorable natural conditions for grape growth are present, and over 80% of NZ wine is produced in Marlborough.
Among these, Sauvignon Blanc, characterized by its crisp acidity and abundant fruitiness, boasts overwhelming production volume and is widely loved worldwide for its unique character. For red wines, Pinot Noir, with its attractive rich berry fruit flavors, is popular.
