Aroma: Smoky Taste: Fruity

Chardonnay is one of the world's most popular white grape varieties.

It is said that "its lack of individuality is its individuality," and its characteristic is that its style can change drastically depending on the growing conditions and brewing method.

In a word, The Marlborist Chardonnay is "fragrant and fruity."

First of all, the scent is noteworthy.

Pour into a glass and swirl slowly to release the fragrant flavor .

The main aromas are roasted almonds , hazelnuts , vanilla , and smoky , with hints of fruity aromas of peach and pear in the background.

But one sip and your impression will change dramatically.

It's really fruity. You can feel the smooth flavor of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango , as well as the concentrated flavor of roasted apples .

The aftertaste after swallowing brings back the initial hints of nuts and vanilla oak , with a hint of spice like cloves .

The vineyards are located in Marlborough's Southern Valley, a region with clay soil that produces grapes with a strong, concentrated flavor.

The vineyards are grown using biodynamic farming methods and are also certified organic.

The whole bunch pressed juice is fermented with wild yeast in wooden barrels. After malolactic fermentation, it is aged in barrels for 11 months. It is then transferred to stainless steel tanks and aged for another 5 months before being clarified, filtered and bottled.

"To evolve Marlborough wine and create something special like nothing before."

The Marlborist's Chardonnay is based on this belief.

Their style, which employs biodynamic farming methods to produce wines with extremely well-balanced flavors, reflects their belief in staying close to nature while also making full use of the wisdom and techniques of modern winemaking.

A good pairing would be fish, such as butter-sautéed salmon, cooked in butter.

It also goes well with cream stewed chicken or pork , cream sauce pasta with seafood , and lasagna with lots of fillings .
