Meet the Winemakers : Trinity Hill from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Following on from Pegasus Bay in September, we will be welcoming another New Zealand winemaker in November. This time, we will be welcoming Warren Gibson, Chief Winemaker of Trinity Hill, based in Hawke's Bay, North Island.

Trinity Hill is an internationally acclaimed winery that has been ranked in the top 10 of New Zealand winery rankings for two consecutive years, with Bordeaux varieties, Syrah, and Chardonnay receiving high praise. In particular, the winery was one of the first to focus on Gimlet Gravels, the most important wine-producing region in Hawke's Bay, and continues to produce premium wines that make the most of this special terroir.

On the day, you can enjoy two varieties from the standard range "Hawke's Bay" series and four varieties from the premium range "Gimlet Gravels" series.

Enjoy a blissful moment as you hear directly from Warren Gibson, a veteran winemaker who has been brewing at Trinity Hill for 27 years, about the special terroir of Gimlet Gravels and his passion for winemaking.

Food will be served buffet style, including New Zealand mussels and lamb chop steak.

If you find a wine you like on the day, you can purchase it and have the bottle signed and photographed.
