About the Winery "Millton Vineyards"

Millton Vineyards is a winery in Gisborne, the easternmost town in New Zealand. It is a pioneer of biodynamic farming in New Zealand and the only New Zealand member of the global organic wine organization headed by the renowned organic producer Nicolas Joly. It is also attractive for its varieties not commonly grown in other regions, such as Chenin Blanc and Viognier.

About the Region of Gisborne

Gisborne is the city closest to the International Date Line in the world, and it is a small wine-producing region located on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island.

Chardonnay is mainly produced in this region, earning it the nickname "Chardonnay Capital."

In addition, they are focusing on producing aromatic varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris.
