An exceptional Chardonnay from a prestigious estate
Chardonnay is the most popular white grape variety in the world. In New Zealand, it boasts the second-highest production volume after the country’s signature variety, Sauvignon Blanc.
Chardonnay is known for being a relatively neutral grape variety by nature. However, in New Zealand, where many wines tend to have strong fruit-forward profiles, producers craft their wines using oak to create layers of complexity and an exquisite balance.

About the Winery: "Cloudy Bay"
"Cloudy Bay" is a winery established in 1985 by David Hohnen, the founder of the Australian winery Cape Mentelle. It is one of the first wineries to have established itself in the Marlborough region, which is known as New Zealand's massive wine-producing area.
Cloudy Bay’s Sauvignon Blanc was unique at the time, featuring a fusion of fruit aromas like passion fruit and tropical fruits with hints of herbs and freshly cut grass.
Its lively style, which takes full advantage of the characteristics of the Marlborough land, is highly individualistic. It is hailed as the "bottle that woke the world up to white wine" and is highly acclaimed for elevating the global status of NZ wine.
Now under the umbrella of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, they continue to produce high-quality wines and contribute to the development of the NZ wine industry.
By the way, Cloudy Bay's name spread rapidly across the world after they formed a partnership with the famous Champagne producer Veuve Clicquot.
