Established in Marlborough in 1990, Allan Scott Family Winemakers has made a name for itself in the highly competitive wine industry.

Allan has been involved in the wine business for nearly 40 years, making him one of Marlborough's most experienced winemakers.

When Allan and his wife Catherine moved to Marlborough in 1973, he began working in new vineyards.

This experience was a significant step for his family to embark on winemaking. In 1975, they purchased land and established their position as independent winemakers in Marlborough.

When Allan Scott Wines was launched in 1990, Allan stated, "We were one of the pioneering independent wineries." Over the subsequent decades, the winery has undergone numerous transformations, evolving to meet market demands.

One of the greatest appeals of this winery is its identity as a true family business. Allan and Cathy's son Josh and youngest daughter Sara have taken over the management, leading the company's production, administration, and development alongside a skilled operational team.

Allan Scott Estate wines use the finest grapes, including single-vineyard prestige wines. In 1999, the Cecilia Series was also released, and currently, three sparkling wines are produced from their own vineyards.
