This is a wine that has the distinctive feature of NZ Chardonnay, "strong fruitiness." By using both wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, it has a good balance of creaminess and fruitiness.

About Vidal
Vidal Estate is one of the oldest established wineries in Hawke's Bay.
Anthony Vidal was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain and emigrated to New Zealand in 1888.
He quickly recognized the natural potential of Hawke's Bay and purchased an old racecourse, and together with his uncle Joseph Soller, a pioneering New Zealand viticulturalist, he cultivated the land and established a winery in 1905.
Vidal then incorporated winemaking techniques from his native Spain while exploring ways to make wine suited to the Hawke's Bay region, and the winery became popular for its Chardonnay, Bordeaux-style grapes, and Syrah.
Currently, we are committed to producing wine with as little human intervention as possible and with consideration for the natural environment.
They also own vineyards in Gimlet Gravels, a borough in the Hawke's Bay region, where they produce wines with rich flavors, and in Marlborough they own vineyards of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, producing fruity wines that are typical of Marlborough.
The winery's headquarters in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, has a cellar door and restaurant where Vidal's wide range of wines can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.
