About the winery "Misha's Vineyards"
Misha's Vineyard is a winery located in the Central Otago region of New Zealand's South Island. It is still a young winery, having only released its first wine in 2008, but Misha's wines have attracted attention and received high praise from many critics.
The owners, Andy and Misha Wilkinson, are a married couple who used to work for a global IT company in Singapore. They had long dreamed of making their own wine someday , and in 2001, they decided to start making wine.
They wanted to create an elegant Pinot Noir in a cool climate, so they narrowed down their search to Central Otago in New Zealand. After two long years of searching, they began making wine in a steep vineyard on the shores of Lake Dunstan in the Bendigo subregion.
Meesha's wines go perfectly with a variety of cuisines, including Asian and Western cuisine. The wines they produce, which they have lived in Asia for 16 years, will be a perfect companion to the Japanese dining tables.
